About Milgi
Founded in London in 2020, Milgi was created to fill the need for an ethical British brand making stylish but functional accessories for dogs.
I created Milgi because I was frustrated that I couldn’t find stylish but durable collars and leads that could stand up to my two boisterous whippets daily adventures. Anything stylish was too fragile, and anything durable enough was just plain ugly. And so Milgi, meaning whippet (or greyhound) in Welsh, was born.
Over the past three years Milgi has grown and evolved, and I was even able to follow my dream of moving away from London to live on the East Sussex coast. Though I’m not in London full time any more, Milgi was born in London and my designs are still inspired by London’s bold and contemporary street style.
I create my dog accessories using cruelty-free, ethical materials that are robust and vegan friendly. Although my treats and chews are very much not vegan, they are all 100% natural, high quality and as pure as can be.
I now work from my garden workshop by the sea in East Sussex with the company of my two whippets, Ziggy and Ringo.
